Shelter – Chapter One

I thought I would pick a favourite shot from each of the twelve chapters of my upcoming book and share them with you over the next few weeks.
Don’t worry, its not a ‘spoiler alert’, would never want to spoil any of the fun of going through the *actual book yourself. Think of it more as me highlighting some of the softer, quieter images, the tender ones. Like this little detail from a country cottage.
While sensitively renovating this ‘wattle and daub’ home, the owners found layers of old newspaper and hessian underneath old wallpaper. So they collected as many of the layered pieces that were still intact which hadn’t disintegrated, and framed them.
A sentimental way to be reminded of the history of their small little cottage.
