Left: Edie at home. Even though it’s autumn, it’s still so hot. Right: Alby and Tim in the kitchen making the ‘Zucchini Bake’.
Come the weekend I love nothing more than to have an easy Sunday lunch on the verandah.
I throw the tablecloth down, I take the kids clothes off so they can run through the sprinkler in the backyard, and then I bring lunch together to the sound of their laughter. So simple, but also so meaningful.

Left: I actually boiled fresh corn on the cob in a pot of salt water for 6 mins, they love it, so easy for their little hands to grab. Right: Drenched after running through the sprinkler.
It’s usually a simple sausage sizzle, but because I make the table look thoughtful with cutlery, candles and water glasses it feels more like a special moment.
Creating childhood memories at home for our family is very important to me.
Those core memories children hold onto for years to come mean everything,

Left: ‘The Zucchini Bake’ I serve it onto a pretty platter, but you can also serve it from the loaf pan you baked it in. Right: The recipe card for the ‘Zucchini Bake’.
For Sunday lunch one of our favourite sides to make is Zucchini Bake.
It’s salty and cheesy and crunchy, a tasty trifecta.
It’s just a handful of ingredients and it’s so easy. There is never any left afterwards.
So delicious and simple to make. Above is the recipe card so you too can try it at home.
If you make it let me know :)
Happy Weekend!
